Im Oktober 2008 schlossen sich auf Initiative von Jason zahlreiche Blogs aus der ganzen Welt zum Music Alliance Pact zusammen, inzwischen sind es 36 Blogs aus 36 Ländern. Jeden Monat stellt jedes Blog einen Song einer Band seines Landes vor, zusammengesetzt ergibt das ein globales Mixtape. Seit Dezember 2008 habe ich die Ehre, deutsche Bands dazu beitragen zu dürfen.
Alles ist mit den jeweiligen Bands und Labels abgesprochen und der Download der mp3s somit absolut legal und definitiv zur Weiterverbreitung geeignet.

This month we’ve got one of the most discussed German artists of last year. Apparat’s 2011 album The Devil’s Walk took the concept of Sascha Ring, the man behind the moniker, further. The soundscapes created feels like a cairn, carefully layered and poised, yet built to last; but Ring has decided to use his falsetto, which has caused controversy with reviewers. Decide for yourself if this concept works well on Ash/Black Veil. I think it does!
